Blueberry Bake#2 -
Blueberry and Lemon Tart
This french tart recipe (tarte aux myrtilles citronnées) is from this delightful book by pastry chef Murielle Valette.
Sweet shortcrust pastry is first made and line the tin.
Fresh blueberries are baked directly in the tart shell.......
As well as sugar too...
When the tart is almost done, a lemon cream consisting of egg, sugar, lemon zest and juice is spread on top of the tart and bake for another 10 minutes.
Et voilà..Blueberry and lemon tart...

Tartes aux pommes Parisienne
(Paris style apple tart)
These apple tarts are usually made without the custard filling.
A layer of applesauce is first applied to the pastry shell and then cover with a neat, closely overlapping layer of sliced apples.
Recipe is taken from Mastering the Art of French Cooking by Julia Child
Apricot glaze adds shine to the baked tarte.

Berry Berries Tart
Inspired by a fruit tart recipe from Martha Stewart's Baking Handbook , I decided to bake this Berry Berries Tart.I like this recipe because it uses a rectangular tart pan that is 14-by-4 inches in size.
Putting the berries together in this uniquely long tart is a joy and an art as well.

Portuguese Egg Tarts
My children were home early from school today and so I decided to bake something sweet for their teatime snacks.
I used ready made puff pastry and baked these portuguese style egg tarts. The caramelized custard makes a delightful difference from the chinese dim sum-style egg tarts.
These tarts were great when eaten freshly baked from the oven and with a cup of tea with milk.
